Chelsea board told to bring in proven world class striker

Pundit Gary Neville has opened up and claimed that CHELSEA could be genuine title contenders if they manage to sign a proven striker in the next couple of transfer windows.
Enzo Maresca has come in and started the season in decent fashion – he has got this side playing some very exciting football and that is why they are better off this season that they were last season.
the club already have a number of talented forwards, including Nicolas Jackson, who has produced five goals and three assists in eight top-flight games this term.
Christopher Nkunku has also impressed for the west Londoners with seven goals across 12 games in all competitions so far this season, but Neville has opened up and claimed that the Blues need to sign a proven striker in the coming windows.
‘I think we know their deficiencies,’ Neville said on his Sky Sports podcast. ‘I don’t want to call out Nicolas Jackson, because I think he can be part of a very successful squad that can do well for CHELSEA
‘I just think if he had a world-class striker in front of him – and he was the second striker – that would probably be more aligned with a team who can go on and potentially win a title in a few years time and catch Liverpool up.’

Jackson and Nkunku have started the new season in pretty good fashion and look like a side that can challenge for that Champions League spot, and that is why they will probably not spend money on a new striker.
Both players can be the future of the club and over the next few seasons – we can see the pair developing into some of the best attackers in the Premier League
