dembele to chelsea? icchelseanews
Florent Malouda has claimed that Ousmane Dembele would be an interesting addition to the Chelsea squad.
The France forward, 24, has failed to agree a new contract at the Nou Camp, with his current deal set to expire this summer, and that has led to alot of speculation that he could come to the Premier League
We are very much interested in getting some kind of transfer deal done, especially after the Spanish club told him he could leave the club this transfer window after failing to agree that new contract.
And amid all the speculation that he could sign with us by the end of the transfer window, Malouda has opened up and claimed that Dembele could be an interesting signing for the club
He told William Hill: ‘Adding players will depend on contract situations and what’s available. Ousmane Dembele is also interesting as he’s free in the summer, but would he suit the Premier League?
‘I think to strengthen they don’t need lots of players, just players who will add quality.
‘The squad has balance, so it’s just about adding players who will bring more of this.
‘It’s too early to assess these players because you want those who are performing at the top level for their teams at that moment.
‘Chelsea’s DNA is to bring in the best players and challenge for trophies, so they should look at doing that.’

It would be an interesting signing for the club, as we would all be interested to see just how he would manage to play in the Premier League when he has been unable to succeed in La Liga
He could be a world class player, but we firmly believe that he would not be able to make an impact for us , he is not the same player he was just a few seasons ago.
