Chelsea board encouraged to sign Goalkeeper this summer

CHELSEA have been told to sign a new stopper in the upcoming transfer window.

We are one of the most active sides in the transfer windows when they open and many are expecting that board to back their boss in the upcoming transfer season to keep on improving the side.

There are all sorts of positions that Mauricio Pochettino is having problems with – but that defence has become a real issue for the Blues as they have let in far too many goals for a side of their side.

And pundit Owen Hargreaves feels the club will need to upgrade for Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic, who has started every Premier League game for Pochettino’s side since December 10

‘Don’t spend money – just get a goalkeeper, get a striker.

‘Find some leaders within the group, they’re almost all at the same age, at the same point in their career, I don’t think that’s a good thing.

‘I think when you’re a team and you’re young and you’re struggling, you need reference points. You need leaders and I don’t think they have that outside Thiago Silva.

‘Right now they’re in great form, that’s good but I think they could have another tricky season next season if they don’t address key positions.’

What he have at the club have done a decent job – but we have seen that a top level stopper will add serious points to the side – and that is what we need.

I am just hoping that the board spend their money on a top class stopper this summer.
