Board have made decision and will allow midfielder to join Chelsea for £30M
Brighton will allow Yves Bissouma to leave the club this summer for a club like Chelsea for just £30M it has been claimed
Jorginho has enjoyed a superb couple of years for club and country, starring in the clubs Champions League win and Italy’s European Championships triumph in 2021, with his performances earning him a Ballon d’Or nomination.
However, there has been alot of speculation that he could depart the club at the end of the season, and a move back to Italy has been mooted for the midfielder, meaning that Thomas Tuchel would need an immediate replacement.
And it has been claimed that we have decided that they will not hand Jorginho that new contract, with his current deal running out at the end of 2023, and would rather sell him this transfer window, then let him leave for nothing.
And that has led to constant reports in the media which have suggested that Chelsea are very much interested in a possible deal for the impressive Bissouma
Now IcChelseanews has learned that despite the fact Brighton want to keep hold of the midfielder – they cannot stop him from leaving if he wants to go and will accept a fee of around £30M in the window
Bissouma has garnered plenty of interest from various Premier League teams. Over the past few seasons, the Mali international has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the English top-flight.
Bissouma is gifted in a technical sense, but it’s his positional awareness and tenacity that truly elevates him to the status of one of the best in the country right now. He is a tidy passer of the ball that has the ability to run box-to-box
Coming from as well-drilled a side as Brighton, he will have no trouble settling down at another Premier League side, especially one that is already playing at the very top of the game.
Jorginho is loved by many fans, but he is coming to that stage of his career where he will want money more than success, and that could be a problem for the club
So the news that they have decided to let him leave means that players like Bissouma could step up and make a real name for themselves for one of the big clubs
