£35 million rated winger admits he is flattered to be linked with summer Chelsea move
Brentford Winger Said Benrahma admitted he was ‘flattered’ to see himself linked with a summer move to Chelsea.
Frank Lampard does not need to spend alot of money to improve his current side, but he needed to add another defender, midfielder and striker to the side in order to turn us from top four contenders to Premier League challengers.
He has already added a new midfielder an attacker to the squad, but there is a feeling that another winger and defender would be the ideal signings for the club, and the impressive Benrahma has been on the shopping list.
Benrahma is a tricky wideman who has even been dubbed the ‘Algerian Messi’, and would be the immediate replacement for Willian or Pedro, who are both expected to depart the club when their current deals run out in the coming weeks.
Benrahma is desperate to make history with Brentford amid the swirling transfer speculation, but has opened up and admitted that he has been flattered by all the transfer speculation linking him with a move here.
‘I don’t look at it as my destiny, but it has always been a target of mine to play in the Premier League and I really wish to play in the Premier League with Brentford,’ Benrahma said.
‘It would be magnificent for Brentford to be in the Premier League because it would be the first time and we have really been working hard on it.’
