Chelsea have begun talks to sign up Ngolo Kante before Roman Abramovic officially sells the club

Now we all know that Abramovic has put the club up for sale after Russia invaded Ukraine, and that has been dominating the headlines over the past few weeks. But there has also been talk that players could start departing the club.

Kante is one of the most influential players at Stamford Bridge right now and a player that does the dirty jobs that the flair players do not like doing, but there has been rumours that he may be interested in a move to PSG

The French giants have been keen on the Frenchman for some time, and with all the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea, it has been claimed that they could make a swop at the end of the current season.

However, According to TuttoMercatoWeb, talks between Kante’s team and the club have begun, with a view of extending his current deal, which is due to expire next year.

It is believed that we do not want to lose the Frenchman and are looking to wrap up a deal before Abramovic leaves the club

Kante has started 13 league games this season, with Thomas Tuchel often rotating his squad due to excellent depth in most positions. Kante has competition for places with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, just to name a few.

Kante is world class and a player that we should make sure that they keep hold of. So fans will be hoping that this is true as he is one of the only few world class players in that Blues squad

We do no not want to see the Frenchman depart the club when he will be so important over the next transition of the club
