Lamps given green light to seal Chelsea deal as Barca seeking to offload £54 million rated star

Barcelona are reportedly looking to sell defender Samuel Umtiti FOR FREE this summer – with Chelsea linked with a move still.

Frank Lampard has been no fool this transfer window and has managed to acquire all the players that he feels will come into the side and make the club challengers for that Premier League title.

We shipped too many goals last season and were in need of adding a new defender to the side, which Lampard sorted out by bringing in Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell, but the former is only a short-term solution and and they are still being linked with Umtiti.

The Frenchman has fallen down the pecking order at the Nou Camp over the last few seasons, and reports suggested Barcelona are willing to allow him to depart the club for the right amount of money.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the centre-back is not in Ronald Koeman’s plans for the upcoming season at the Nou Camp and they are now seeking to get the Frenchman off the books for free this summer.

Now New Barca boss Ronald Koeman is set for a summer clear out, and Umtiti is one who could go out the door, according to recent reports, Umtiti could be all set for a move to the Premier League

Look, we were once fans of Umtiti and believed that he could have been a big player for us back in the day, but for now, he is not the right kind of signing unless we could get him for a real bargain.
