Napoli and Chelsea reach agreement over £16 million deal
Napoli have reportedly reached a gentleman’s agreement to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko on a permanent deal from Chelsea.
There is only a few weeks until the January transfer window opens up for the Premier League, and although the COVID-19 virus has not gone away, it is still expected that a number of clubs will be looking to do some transfer business.
We haveour eyes set on a new defender and possible a new midfielder, but they will need to offload a number of squad players before completing any deals, and Bakayoko is a man that is no longer needed at the club.
The midfielder joined the Serie A club on loan in October and has quickly become an integral part of their title push, and According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs are said to have now reached an agreement in principle over a £16million move for the midfielder.
Look, if the reports are true and we have reached an agreement for Bakayoko, it is a good amount of money to get for a player that never really made any sort of impact on the side.
This will end his time with the club, but as we said, he did not make that much of an impression and he will not be missed too much from the club
