Chelsea ‘are interested’ in completing signing of £102M star

There has been some fresh reports which have claimed that Chelsea are interested in signing Bundesliga defender Josko Gvardiol

The fans know all the issues that Thomas Tuchel is facing this transfer window as Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger have both left the club after failing to agree a new contract to stay at Stamford Bridge

The club could also lose Marcos Alonso to Barcelona – as rumours suggest that he is open to leaving the club – while Captain Cesare Azpilicueta is set to sit down and hold talks about his future with the club

It has already been revealed that Seville star Jules Kounde is a man that is already on his way to London – after it was claimed this weekend that we have already agreed personal terms with the Frenchman

Now – amid all the speculation – Fans are told that the club are ready to battle Tottenham in order to win the race for the defender

Alex Crook told  GIVEMESPORT: “I think they’re more likely to recruit abroad than in the Premier League. The other name that I heard for Chelsea was Gvardiol, who Tottenham are looking at as well.

“I think they will sign Kounde, but I think they want to sign two central defenders.”

Gvardiol is a player that Tuchel has been impressed with ahead of a possible transfer move for the powerful defender.

They sent scouts to watch him personally on at least two occasions and have continued to monitor him from afar with their video and data-driven scouting systems.

We do not know much about Gvardiol, but his stats speak for themselves and he could be a very good option for Chelsea to make a move and try to sign
