CHELSEA forward Louna Ribadeira will spend the remainder of the 2024/25 season at Everton after completing a loan move, the Blues have confirmed on the club website.

The Blues posted on the club website: ‘The 20-year-old forward joined the Blues on a four-year deal in the summer from Paris FC where she then returned on loan, making two appearances and scoring once during the first half of the campaign.’Ribadeira joined Chelsea with impressive experience for somebody still in the early years of their senior career. She had already racked up 60 senior club appearances and made her France debut in a 2-1 win against England in May.

‘During the 2023/24 season, the young forward excelled for Paris FC. She made 24 appearances, scoring on eight occasions, and such form was rewarded with her being named the Division 1 Feminine Young Player of the Year.

‘Before representing her country at senior level, she enjoyed much success on the youth international stage. Ribadeira reached the final of the U-17 Euros, before making the semi-final in the U-19s Euros in 2023 when she was the top goal scorer and named Player of the Tournament.

‘Ribadeira will soon get her first taste of Women’s Super League action with the Toffees, who currently sit ninth in the table.

‘Everyone at Chelsea wishes Louna well for her loan spell in Merseyside and we look forward to watching her development during the rest of the season.’
