Chelsea announce forward deal, Frenchman open to £65M move, Chelsea in talks sign Bundesliga star

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer speculation from icchelseanews featuring the likes of Christopher Nkunku and Karim Adeyemi that we think you may have missed today…
CHELSEA forward Louna Ribadeira will spend the remainder of the 2024/25 season at Everton after completing a loan move, the Blues have confirmed on the club website.
The Blues posted on the club website: ‘The 20-year-old forward joined the Blues on a four-year deal in the summer from Paris FC where she then returned on loan, making two appearances and scoring once during the first half of the campaign.’Ribadeira joined Chelsea with impressive experience for somebody still in the early years of their senior career. She had already racked up 60 senior club appearances and made her France debut in a 2-1 win against England in May.
‘During the 2023/24 season, the young forward excelled for Paris FC. She made 24 appearances, scoring on eight occasions, and such form was rewarded with her being named the Division 1 Feminine Young Player of the Year.
‘Before representing her country at senior level, she enjoyed much success on the youth international stage. Ribadeira reached the final of the U-17 Euros, before making the semi-final in the U-19s Euros in 2023 when she was the top goal scorer and named Player of the Tournament.
‘Ribadeira will soon get her first taste of Women’s Super League action with the Toffees, who currently sit ninth in the table.
‘Everyone at Chelsea wishes Louna well for her loan spell in Merseyside and we look forward to watching her development during the rest of the season.’
NKUNKU OPEN TO MOVE
Christopher Nkunku is open to leaving CHELSEA this January transfer window and making the move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Nkunku has been at the club for a few seasons now, but has really struggled with injuries during his time at the club, and despite the fact he has 13 goals this season, Nicolas Jackson is seen as the clubs number one striker.
Enzo Maresca loves to employ Jackson as his main man in the Premier League, meaning that Nkunku has only been able to get much of his minutes in the conference League and cup competitions, which is not what the attacker wants.
That led to reports in the media over the past few days suggesting that we are open to the idea of letting Nkunku leave the club, and are ready to let him got for £65 million amidst the Bayern Munich speculation.
Now RMC Sport adds that Nkunku is open to joining Bayern and negotiations have already begun over a move.
IcChelseanews View…
Nkunku is a player with alot of quality, a man that knows how to score goals on a regular basis, but he is not getting the chances in the Premier League under Enzo Maresca that he would like and that is why he will probably leave the club.
It will be a shame if he does because he is a quality player that could be massive for the club
BLUES ADEYEMI TALKS
CHELSEA hope to finally lure Karim Adeyemi to Stamford Bridge this January, and are in talks about a potential deal.
The German winger is catching the eye of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United too according to reports with the club considering him as a signing that could add some more quality down the flanks of the attack.
We were claimed to be interested in Adeyemi over the summer, with reports in Germany claiming that the club were ‘already in contact’ with the forward as they ‘wanted to persuade him to move to the UK’
it’s claimed we are “in talks” to recruit the in-form star, but Dortmund would want a sizeable fee for the former RB Salzburg hero, who is under contract until 2027 and also on Napoli’s radar.
But Bild journalist Christian Falk says the Premier League giants are “still in talks to sign” Adeyemi.
IcChelseanews View…
Adeyemi is another exciting player that does not need to leave his current club right now – he is developing very nicely at Dortmund and a move to the Premier League at this stage of his career could ruin his development.
He is really confident when he gets the ball one on one. Not many players can stop him, He had a tough time coming here at the start – finding his feet – and now he’s flying.
Honestly, he could be a great long-term investment for the club
