Chelsea announce defender deal, Bundesliga star has offer join Blues, Rivals told let Chelsea sign £65M star

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer speculation from icchelseanews featuring Naomi Girma, Karim Adeyemi and Renato Veiga that you may have missed…
Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi reportedly has an offer from CHELSEA on the table.
The German winger is catching the eye of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United too according to reports with the Blues considering him as a signing that could add some more quality down the flanks of the attack.
We were claimed to be interested in Adeyemi over the summer, with reports in Germany claiming that the club were ‘already in contact’ with the forward as they ‘wanted to persuade him to move to the UK’
Now, according to Sky Italia, the club are one of the clubs in the mix for the German star. Napoli have held talks with Dortmund as they look to sign a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratshkelia after he left for PSG.
“Adeyemi is the name chosen by De Laurentiis’s Azzurri, who are carrying out a double negotiation,” Sky Italia claim.
“We thought they had already abandoned Garnacho, but in reality, they haven’t actually done so. €52m is Borussia’s request, but Napoli wants to reach an agreement first with the German player, who has an offer from Chelsea and needs to think about it.”

If the club get the lad – he would be a very exciting signing – but we simply cannot see him making the move to Stamford Bridge this transfer window, as he would much prefer to see what options he has at the end of the season.
But he is certainly a player that we would love to see get signed that is for sure.
ARSENAL TOLD LET CHELSEA MAKE OFFER SIGN CUNHA
Pundit and former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher has advised Arsenal to give CHELSEA and other Premier League rivals a free run at £65m transfer target and Wolves star Matheus Cunha this transfer window.
Cunha has been in brilliant form this season for Wolves and there has been alot of speculation that the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are interested in a move with only a few days left in the transfer window.
the Gunners know that they need to improve that attack for the remainder of the season as Bukayo Saka is still out and Gabriel Jesus will be out for the rest of the season, leaving Kai Havertz as the main man at the Emirates.
However – despite the reports suggesting that Arsenal are keen to sign up the Brazilian, Carragher has opened up and claimed that the Gunners should allow the other clubs to make a move for Cunha.
Asked if he would sign Cunha if he was in charge at the Emirates Stadium, Carragher told Sky Sports: ‘He’s a good player but I wouldn’t be paying £65m for him. I’m not sure where he would play for Arsenal.’

Even if he joined CHELSEA and Liverpool, he would be a bench warmer and a player that plays alot less than what he is now at Wolves, this move would only be worth it if he was guaranteed to play every week.
GIRMA DEAL ANNOUNCED
CHELSEA have officially announced the arrival of Naomi Girma, with the talented defender joining the Blues from San Diego Wave for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old American international has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal, after the decision was made by the Blues board that a new defender needed to be brought to Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the season.
Upon joining the Blues, Girma said: ‘I’m so happy and really excited to be here. It doesn’t feel real. There are a lot of things about Chelsea that made me want to come here – the culture, the winning mentality, staff and players. It’s a top environment to learn and grow in.
‘Right now, that’s what I’m looking to do. It was an easy choice for me.’
Head of women’s football Paul Green added: ‘Naomi is a world-class defender who is now coming into the prime years of her career. Her composure on the ball, ability to read the game coupled with her pace and athleticism will add top quality to an already very talented squad.
‘Naomi has showcased her talent in the NWSL, winning various individual awards and delivered on the international stage for the USA, including this summer winning a gold medal at the Olympics.
‘She is undoubtedly ready for this next step in her career and we are delighted it will be with CHELSEA.’
ALL WE CAN SAY IS WELCOME NOAOMI AND WE HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR TIME HERE!
