Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icchelseanews that w think you guys could have missed…
CHELSEA Football Club has agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Mike Penders from KRC Genk and ended months of speculation and rumours about whether or not the Belgian star would make the move to Stamford Bridge.
The club have been making alot of transfer moves once again this season to sign some of the best talents in the game and Penders is the latest name to be signed by that Board.
the young Belgian only made his debut for Genk towards the back end of last season, but he has impressed so much that we were ready to pay some big money in order to get a deal done, and then offer the lad a massive contract to sign up too, which is what happened.
CHELSEA posted on the club website: ‘Penders, a Belgium Under-19 international, will join Chelsea from next summer after agreeing a contract with the club until 2032.
‘Penders made his senior debut for Genk last month against Standard Liege. He kept a clean sheet and, at 18 years and 363 days, became the third-youngest goalkeeper to debut in the Jupiler Pro League.
‘The 19-year-old followed that with an outing against OH Leuven and will continue his development in the Belgian top flight this season.’

I am glad to see another player has decided to make the move to the club – he is a real talent – we are just a little disappointed at the board are signing another player that will not make an impact at the club for quite a while.
He is talented but is he needed?
CHELSEA MOST LIKELY SIGN OSIMHEN –
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is the player that are most likely to sign this summer window according to the latest reports as speculation continues tat they want to add a new striker to that attack.
There is alot more transfer talk in the media that we still wants to add a new striker to the side that has the ability to score goals on a weekly basis, and Osimhen is a plan that the Blues would love to add to the squad.
He has already put in a transfer request in order to force a move out of the club and Napoli are willing to allow the star to leave if the right amount of money is paid – with reports suggesting that £87 million will get the Nigerian star all signed up.
PSG have also been chasing the big star in recent weeks – but if you believe the recent reports – Paris Saint-Germain are not actively trying to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli at the moment, meaning that Chelsea are clear favourites.
Football.Lonond reporter Kieran King writes: “If Chelsea are going to sign a new centre forward before the end of the transfer window, it does feel like Victor Osimhen is the one they will get. The Nigerian has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer and his name continues to be the hottest topic.
“Although Nicolas Jackson scored for Chelsea against Wolves, I do feel like Chelsea might need another centre forward and Osimhen does feel the perfect fit considering his goalscoring record.
‘I should stress that Armando Broja, David Datro Fofana and Romelu Lukaku should leave first, however.”
CHELSEA IN STERLING TALKS –
Big one from the Telegraph as it has now been claimed that Manchester United and CHELSEA are in talks over a potential deal for Raheem Sterling.
There has been alot of speculation about where the player could end up – but it is believed that he would rather stay at Chelsea and stay in the Premier League rather than force a move to club that he doesnt want to join.
However – the Times have now claimed that Chelsea and Man United are in talks over a deal for the winger, and They say that Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth has discussed a swap deal with Raheem Sterling.
Predictably, the deal would see Jadon Sancho go to Stamford Bridge. It’s still very early stages of this one. There’s a long, long way to go.
But amid all the speculation and rumours – former Blues star Emmanuel Petit has now opened up and encouraged the likes of Sterling to leave the club if he has the opportunity too: “If you’re Sterling or any CHELSEA player and have the chance to leave the club, I would take it. Honestly, I don’t see how Enzo Maresca can rescue this, he’s not a magician,” he told Safest Casino Sites.

Sterling is one of the most experienced players in the side and that is why he is probably getting sold, the board wants to get the average age of the side down.
It is a shame he has been so inconsistent since his move here, he can be brilliant at times
