CHELSEA are set to add another wonderkid to their books after agreeing a deal for Kazakh teenager Dastan Satpaev in a record transfer, it has been reported in the media this weekend.

Since the board came to the club just a few seasons ago, their plan to sign some of the best talents in the game for big money and on big contracts is there for everyone in football to see, that has been the clubs policy.

Satpaev appears to be the next player in line for such a transfer after Fabrizio Romano revealed that a package worth €4 million including add-ons had been agreed with Kazakhstan giants Kairat Almaty.

He posted on X: ‘Chelsea have agreed deal to sign 2008 born talent Dastan Satpaev from Kazakhstan.

‘Transfer fee worth €4m package add-ons included from Kairat Almaty.

‘Record transfer for Kazakhstan league as Dastan will join Chelsea on a 5 year deal plus 1 year option when he turns 18.’

Satpaev is a talent, like so many of the players that we seemingly sign, but it is probably some more waste of money as he may never get the chance to prove himself at Stamford Bridge.

So even though he is a talent, we are sure that he is a player that will probably get lost in the system.
