Defender Reguilon wants to sign with Chelsea after holding talks about transfer

The Sergio Reguilon is edging closer to a stunning Chelsea move as the Blues are in advanced talks to get a transfer deal done.

We all know that Frank Lampard is eager to spend some serious money in the transfer window and bring in another left-back to the side, as that is an area of the pitch that they are having serious issues in.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media which has suggested that Ben Chilwell is the clubs number one transfer target, but negotiations have proved more difficult than expected with the Foxes demanding a world record fee for a defender.

And that has meant that the club have started looking at possible alternatives, with Reguilon now on the shopping list of the boss.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Sevilla this season, and was expected to make that move back to Madrid and fight for the regular starting spot at the club,

But it appears the we have stolen a march and have opened talks about a transfer deal.

We must now decide whether to make an approach to loan the player or pay a £22.5m fee.

The lad is very talented and he will be very welcome if we are able to complete this transfer deal over the next few weeks, as it will take time to wrap up all the finer details of a possible transfer deal.
