Tammy Abraham has opened up and ended all speculation that he could he heading back to Chelsea in the summer after being the difference for Roma at the weekend – scoring the winner against Atalanta in Serie A.

The club made the big decision in the summer to offload their academy graduate to Jose Mourinho in favour of using the £34million plus more to re-sign Lukaku, who established himself as the most dangerous striker in Italian football.

But his move has not quite worked out as mixed success with the infamous Sky Italia interview and his FIFA Club World Cup adventure telling the Belgian’s story so far on his Stamford Bridge homecoming.

Whilst Lukaku himself is still working to try and adapt to Thomas Tuchel’s system in west London, Chelsea’s former number 9 has been thriving on the continent under a manager that wants him to become a ‘monster’ in front of goal.

But there has been some shock speculation in the media which have claimed that we have the option of bringing him back to the club in the summer for a fee of £68 million, as they look to solve their defensive issues.

However, after helping Jose Mourinho’s side stay in the hunt for a Champions League place with his goal against Atalanta, Afterwards, Abraham revealed his delight playing for the Italian club.

“I’m loving AS Roma – I give my best for this club, they trusted me in difficult moment of my career and lifted me up,” he said as per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

“I enjoy my time here, I feel like home”.

It would not be a shock to see him back in the Premier League right now, but the man is scoring goals and enjoying himself, wo why would he leave the club when he is having the best season of his career?

We are glad to see him thriving, it is just a shame it is not with Chelsea
