West Ham are reportedly considering slashing their asking price for Chelsea target Declan Rice.
With the transfer window is full swing, it seems that there will not bee too many new players coming to Stamford Bridge in the final days of the window, despite all the rumours about the type of players that Frank Lampard could sign
However, we are already planning for their summer window and the signings that could arrive under Frank Lampard, or a new boss should the legend get the sack, and Rice is a player that has been on the radar of the Blues since last summer.
It was reported on many occasions that we were very interested in trying to secure a transfer deal for Rice, but simply could not get a deal done as the Hammers wanted a massive £80 million for a player they have turned into one of the best in the Premier League.
But According to the Guardian, Hammers bigwigs could be willing to sell the England international for £50million at the end of the season, with reports adding that West Ham are thinking of slashing their players’ valuations due to the financial impact of the coronavirus crisis.
The potential new fee is £30MILLION less than the asking price just last summer, and would be a fee that we would be willing to match.
Rice is a very good midfielder and we never believed that the Hammers would get £80 million for his services, but that asking price is a fee that we would like to see get paid, he is worth that amount.
And he would be a very good addition to this Chelsea squad, dont you think?
