CHELSEA have informed Ruben Loftus-Cheek that he is now free to complete his move to AC Milan.

It will be all change for the club over the course of the transfer window as a number of players will be departing the club – and a few more added to the side.

And Loftus-Cheek has been a player that been linked with a move away from the club for some time.

He has made a total of 155 appearances since making his first team debut – registering 13 goals and 18 assists – and has also spent time out on loan at Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and Fulham.

But Loftus-Cheek could now be set to join former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori at AC Milan in Serie A.

According to reports, the Italian club have been in direct contact with Loftus-Cheek for over two weeks and are now close to agreeing terms with the 27-year-old over a long-term contract.

The Football Insider has claimed Pochettino has green lit Loftus-Cheek’s exit in what could be the first sale of his reign as manager

There has been a few players leave for Italian football and reignite their careers – so Loftus-Cheek will be hoping that this move helps him fulfil his potential.

As we said – he will be joining one of the biggest teams in world football, but he wont be the only one heading out of the transfer door as there are far too many members in that squad to make it a successful one.
