Midfielder announces ‘he is excited’ after getting Chelsea transfer move done

New AC Milan man Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been speaking to the Italian media about his excitement at playing for the Serie A giants.

He was once tipped to be a real star for the club – but he was unable to live upto the hype that surrounded him as a kid – and although he has been a solid player – he has never quite made that starting spot his own at the club.

That led to many reports in the media that AC Milan were interested in a deal for the midifelder – and only after a few days of talking – the Italians and the club agreed on a fee for the star.

Loftus-Cheek signed a four-year deal at the Italian giants after spending 19 years at Stamford Bridge, And now he has admitted just how excited he is to be playing for the Italian giants.

WHAT HAS HE SAID – 

He said: “[Paolo] Maldini told me they were impressed by my performances after Milan-CHELSEA , I’m so happy to be here”.

Loftus-Cheek also revealed he has spoken to Christian Pulisic, who is set to join him at the San Siro soon.

He said: “Christian Pulisic will arrive in Milano tomorrow. I spoke to Chris, he’s gonna do great things here at Milan”.

We have said it before and we will say it again – this is a massive move for Loftus-Cheek to make as AC Milan are still one of the biggest clubs in the world and a side that will compete for big titles.
