Champions will sell goal-scorer to Chelsea for £80M

Manchester City will not entertain offers of below £80million for Julian Alvarez this summer, and CHELSEA should not pay that amount according to reporter Iomie Stanley.

We are looking to add a new striker to the attack over the course of the summer transfer window and add a player that has the ability to score goals on a weekly basis, something that Alvarez has proven at City.

However – with Erling Haaland the number one player under Guardiola – Alvarez is seeing his game time become less and less unless the big man picks up an injury, and at this stage of his career, he wants to play more.

Pep Guardiola is extremely happy with the attacker and there is no desire to lose him, and City would like to keep him , Alvarez has not asked to leave, he just wants a bigger role at the club.

But with the reports that Man City will sell Alvarez if over £80 million is spent, Stanley has said that the Blues would be making a mistake by signing the striker for that king of money, he said: ”Pep Guardiola is one of the best managers in the game and if he believed that Alvarez could lead that attack on a weekly basis – he would have not gone out and signed Erling Haaland, a player that the club had to change their style to suit.

‘He is not the right type of player to lead that CHELSEA attack and could be another flop like Raheem Sterling.’
