Cech OPENLY suggests £100M powerhouse will be a Chelsea player this summer

Chelsea performance advisor Petr Cech has hinted Romelu Lukaku could stay at the club amid continued rumours of a return to Inter Milan this summer.
Lukaku has been in the headlines alot over the past few months as rumours surfaced that he is a player that Thomas Tuchel is ready to let go – in order to sign a better alternative
The Belgian only managed 15-goals for the club last season – and it has been claimed on many occasions over the past few weeks that he wants a move back to Italian football and Inter Milan
And it seems that the Giants are also very keen to make sure that he is brought back – with recent reports claiming that the two clubs are at an advanced stage in talks over a possible loan deal.
However – amid all the speculation – Cech has opened up and hinted that Lukaku will actually be at theclub next season – and he will be better than the season that has just passed.
Cech told Sky Sports: “I personally believe he will have a great season. Last season we seen how strong he can be at the beginning when he came.
“But unfortunately, the long term injury he sustained in the game against [Aston] Villa slowed everything down and then he had Covid as well.
“I think we could see towards the end of the season, when he was fit and ready to go again, how strong he is. I have full confidence he will bounce back and have a strong season.”
