Chelsea have announces Jamal Blackman has joined Bristol Rovers until the end of the season.

Blackman joined the club as an Under-13 but has never made a senior appearance for the west London side., with the 26-year-old stopper spending the first half of the season with Vitesse Arnhem but his minutes were severely limited by injury, but the stopper will spend the remainder of the season with the League One side, who are five points below the play-off places

Blackman’s arrival is quite the coup for the Gas with the 26-year-old highly rated and whose loan spells up to now have been at Championship level and in the top-flights of Sweden with Ostersunds and the Netherlands at Vitesse Arnhem.

“Jamal is a very talented goalkeeper and I’m delighted to welcome him to the football club,” Ben Garner told bristolrovers.co.uk.

“Jamal is someone who I actually tried to sign as a youngster at Crystal Palace, as his talent and ability was evident at an early age.

“He’s had a good upbringing at Chelsea and has benefited from a number of different loan spells throughout his career.

“The owners and recruitment team were very supportive in getting this deal done & it is a credit to the structures that we have in place that we’ve been able to secure what we think is a good deal for the football club.

“We would like to thank Chelsea for the swift nature in which the deal was concluded and I’m looking forward to working with Jamal for the remainder of the season.”

We are reportedly stepping up their efforts to sign Edinson Cavani this transfer window.

Frank Lampard is keen to bolster his attacking options in the January transfer window and is targeting a new striker to support Tammy Abraham.

And it seems that he has set his sights on trying to acquire the services of Cavani, who is keen to leave PSG this month after handing in a transfer request earlier this week, And despite his age, It seriously looks likefans may well be seeing the man in the coming days, as the video reveals.

Chelsea transfer target Bruno Guimaraes has spoken out for the first time on speculation linking him with a January move to the Premier League.

We have been in the transfer headlines for weeks now after it emerged that Frank Lampard will be able to spend some serious money to help improve his side in key areas of the pitch, and that has led to speculation in the media suggesting that Lampard is keen to splash some money in order to land the £34 million signing of Guimaraes, who is rated very highly across Europe.

But now the Brazilian has responded to the transfer links and admitted that there is talks about a possible transfer move away from the club

He told SporTV: ‘What I asked my agents was that the transfer is good for me and for Athletico Paranaense.

‘I know that clubs are in talks… it’s difficult to choose. They are all great teams.’

Chelsea should make a January move for Manchester United target Raul Jimenez.

After becoming the club’s top scorer in Premier League history – netting his 23rd league goal to overtake Steven Fletcher’s 22, interest in a Premier League deal has taken another leap forward, and we should make a move.

Olivier Giroud is on his way out the club, Michy Batshuayi is BLAH, and Tammy Abraham still has a lot to learn in the game, so Frank Lampard needs to spend some serious money in order to complete a deal for Jimenez.

As we have said, he is now one of the most deadly players in the Premier League, so if he has the opportunity to play for one of the Leagues biggest clubs, he could be one of the best strikers in Europe.

Relatively quick, a great finisher, strong in the air and the ability to hold the ball up and bring others into play, the man has all the class and quality to be a real star and if we are seeking to add another striker to the line-up, £40 million for this lad is a great bit of business.

We have been linked with so many strikers that will need time to adjust to the Premier League, why not spend that money on a player that is already proven in the Premier League?
If Lampard need to add another striker to the squad, then the boss should look no further than a deal for Jimenez as he has all the ability and quality to come in and make a real impact on teh side.

Yes we have been linked with a move for EDONSON CAVANI, but he will need time to adjust to the Premier League and quite honestly, we believe that he is not the striker to help solve our issues.

Going for Jimenez would be a shock move, but the man has proven himself in the Premier League and surely he could be a fantastic buy?
