Brilliant Frenchman has made big Chelsea January decision
As Per Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, Christopher Nkunku is not planning to move out of CHELSEA in the upcoming January transfer window despite limited game time under Enzo Maresca so far this season.
Nicolas Jackson has been criticised for his wayward finishing since his move to Stamford Bridge, but is seemingly the player that Enzo Maresca believes will be the club long-term number one striker, and has been given more opportunities to shine under the Italian.
That has led to alot of speculation in the media that Nkunku may look for a move away from the club, with PSG just one club that are reportedly very interested in getting some kind of transfer deal done for the player, but it seems he will not be leaving yet.
As Per Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, Christopher Nkunku is not planning to move out of Stamford Bridge in the upcoming January transfer window, but the player could consider moving out of the club next summer if things do not improve.
Glenn Hoddle recently questioned if Christopher Nkunku wants to stay at the club – he said of Nkunku: ‘The injuries are obviously there, he knows he’s not quite at his sharpest yet.
‘When I look at CHELSEA’s forwards, I think Nkunku would be more clinical than Nicolas Jackson if he had the same time on the pitch and had his chances so far this season.
‘Jackson is obviously improving and getting more confident, he has the manager’s faith and backing right now.
‘Whether Nkunku is going to be happy… he might be one that will think he needs to leave come January if this is still happening.’
