Brilliant defender Chooses Chelsea amid latest transfer talk
Bayern Munich linked Levi Colwill wants to stay at Chelsea this summer window, it has been claimed
The 21-year-old defender, who can operate at centre-back and left-back enjoyed a breakthrough season at the club, making 32 appearances in all competitions and was expected to partner Tosin Adarabioyo in that defence for Enzo Maresca.
However – He has done enough to attract the attention of Bayern Munich, who are considering making an offer for him this summer, reports Sky Sports Germany after initial talks with the club over a potential deal.
The reports claims that Colwill is not first choice for Vincent Kompany’s side this summer transfer window as the former Burnley boss is keen to improve that back-line over the course of the window.
But now the London Evening Standard write that Colwill is settled and wants to stay at Stamford Bridge. Plus, the hierarchy don’t want to sell him anyway.
Fabrizio Romano reporting what we said earlier in the day: “Understand Chelsea position on Levi Colwill remains same as last summer: no plans to sell him,” he says. “Despite interest from several top clubs.
“Colwill is again considered important part of CHELSEA project and a key player for their future. Bayern keep working on Jonathan Tah.”
