Boss delighted after latest Chelsea deal announces, Jorginho makes big announcement, Tuchel looking to sign PSG star, agent announces offers for £100m Chelsea target in latest news…
Eduardo Camavinga’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, says they have had “a lot of offers from top clubs” for the Chelsea target
The midfielder, who has made 37 appearances in all competitions this season for Rennes, has impressed immensely with the Ligue 1 side and is in contention for a call-up to the France squad for this summer’s European Championship.
We are one of a number of clubs that are reportedly very interested in signing the young man in the transfer window, with reports that Rennes will be demanding a massive £100 million fee for their young man.
And amid all the speculation, Barnett has opened up and admitted that there are a lot of offers on the table from big clubs, he told SNTV: “Believe me we have a lot of offers for this year, a lot of offers, and good ones. I mean top, top clubs. We don’t want to rush. There is the right time to move on and playing games is the most important thing at his age.
“Playing in a good club is nice for him. It might be this year, or he wants to have another year. He has got to talk to his family, his father. We will all sit down and decide. We will talk to Rennes as well and decide. There is no rush for him.
“He’s probably the best young player in the world. He has just turned 18. He has already been a French international. He’s an unbelievable talent. He could play in any team in the world. He is still going to be a great talent at 19. It’s not that old you know, 19.”
Look, we would be very lucky to sign the lad up
Jorginho has sought to bring the speculation regarding his future at Chelsea to a close
Jorginho has retained a prominent role in the team since another managerial change was made back in January, but there has been alot of transfer talk that he could be a player that the club look to sell on in the transfer window.
Jorginho’s latest outing saw him contribute towards a bump being hit in a domestic road, with his reckless back-pass presenting Arsenal with an opportunity to secure a 1-0 derby win, but his creative qualities have been showcased on a regular basis, and he has now come out and told fans that he wants to stay at the club.
Jorginho, who moved to England in 2018, has told reporters of the exit talk he has been generating in west London: “Of course, I do feel settled.
“When I came here, everything was different. But I felt welcome straight away.
“It feels great after three years, and I know everyone here appreciates what I try to do for the club and for the people. So it feels like home now in England.
“It’s definitely not the time to think about contracts with two finals to play!
“How could I want to leave the club? That’s not the point. It’s not the point even talking about it now. I’ve got two more years and like I said, I really feel at home here. So there’s no point actually even talking about it. And we have only just started under Thomas [Tuchel] – we’ve got a lot more to do here.”
He does not score that many goals and does not create, so surely there is a better option out there for the club to sign? they have the money to sign anyone.
Chelsea have agreed pre-contract terms to sign Holland defender Aniek Nouwen from PSV Eindhoven on a three-year deal, and boss Emma Hayes is delighted.
Nouwen has made over 100 appearances for PSV since making her professional debut in 2016 and has been capped 14 times by the Netherlands, and she has been on the radar of the club for the last 12 months.
Now we have won the race to get a transfer deal done as Nouwen will will join Emma Hayes’ squad ahead of the 2021-22 season, and the boss is delighted to get the defender all signed up.
She told the club website: : “Aniek really is an exciting addition to our squad. Not only does she bring a wealth of league and international experience for her age, she is also very composed on the ball and her physicality will certainly suit the English league.
“I have no doubt Aniek is one of the best young defenders in the world and has a very bright future ahead of her with us.”
The 22-year-old says she jumped at the chance to sign for the Women’s Super League champions and is excited at the prospect of linking up with her new team-mates.
“There were other clubs who were interested, but I made my decision to join Chelsea pretty fast,” Nouwen said on the club website
“To play in the English league has always been a dream for me as it is the best competition and it provides the best opportunity for me to develop even more.
“I’m very honoured and proud to become a Blue and I can’t wait to be a part of this winning team. I want to win prizes and play in the big games.
“I’m looking forward to joining up with the team. It’s all going to be very new but I’m really excited.”
Thomas Tuchel reportedly wants a reunion with PSG midfielder Marco Verratti during the summer transfer window
Tuchel is no fool and he knows that he needs to add a bit more quality to that midfield area, especially in the centre of the pitch and add a midfielder to the squad that can add a few more goals to the attack.
And the manager wants to sign Marco Verratti from former club PSG this summer, according to 90min.
The Italian midfielder has made more than 350 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions since 2012, including two and a half years under the management of Tuchel, and the report claims he is a big fan of Verratti, and would reportedly like to be reunited with him again at Stamford Bridge.
However, PSG have him tied down to a massive contract and have no need to let him leave the club in the transfer window, even for silly money. Meaning that the club will have a battle on their hands to get a deal done.
We have alot of quality in that squad, there is no doubt about that. But to sends a real message to Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, they need to sign players like Verratti, who is one of the very best in the game.
It is very unlikely that he will want to leave PSG, that they will want to sell, so he will probably not sign for Chelsea. But if they did, he would bring that sparkle in the centre of midfield that we are lacking right now
