Here is the latest transfer news and gossip that we think you could have missed –

Nicolas Jackson won’t be included in any swap deals away from CHELSEA this summer, despite rumours he was offered to Newcastle in a potential move for Alexander Isak.

The forward has put in some decent performances during his stay at club – but there is a feeling that the club will need to add another forward to the attack this summer in order to start competing with the big boys again for Champions League football.

That has led to some stunning reports in the media which had claimed that Nicolas Jackson could actually depart the club this summer and it has been claimed that we could use the striker in their bid to land Alexander Isak from Newcastle.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, Jackson is seen as an important part of the project at Stamford Bridge. Jackson himself is also said to be happy with the Blues.

Recently Speaking to Gambling Zone, William Gallas has opened up and claimed that Jackson will not be leaving the club this summer – he said: ‘Nicolas Jackson is clearly upset at Chelsea for Pochettino leaving, Poch gave him the opportunity to have that confidence and he gave him a very good first season in the Premier League.

“The new manager will need time to get even more out of Jackson, but he had a very solid season, scoring nearly 15 goals, so I think he can improve again.

“He’s still young and the next step is to get to the 20 goal mark, which I think is possible next season for him. He’s still very raw and missed some huge chances, especially in their semi-final of the FA Cup against Man City.

“But I think he has all the tools to become a very good player in the future…”

ZIRKZEE BOOST –

Bologna have confirmed CHELSEA target Joshua Zirkzee is ‘99.9 per cent’ likely to leave the club this summer.

Christopher Nkunku has been injured for alot of the season, while Nicolas Jackson has only shown glimpses of the potential that many believe he has, and has been backed to never be a 30 goal a season striker.

That has led to many reports in the media that we are interested in signing the striker this summer but recent reports has revealed it is ‘now or never’ if they want to sign Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee.

And now Bologna’s technical director, Giovanni Sartori, has confirmed that the club have already been working on signing a replacement for the 23-year-old: ‘Zirkzee has a clause so he will leave 99.9 per cent,’ Sartori told Sky Sport Italia on Monday evening.

‘We have been thinking about his replacement for months.

‘It won’t be easy but we will work to replace him, we already have some names, some ideas.’

Zirkzee is certainly a talent that has been very impressive over the past 12 months or so – but he is not any better than what we already have at the club and to be honest – he would probably struggle to make any real impact at the Bridge.

DREWSBURY HALL WANTS TROPHIES –

Midfielder Kieran Drewsbury-Hall has opened up and said that he is hoping to win some silverware at CHELSEA after making the move to Stamford Bridge.

We have been very active in the transfer market already this summer and Drewsbury-Hall is the latest name to make the move to Stamford Bridge on a massive six-year deal after an impressive season with Leicester City last year.

And after completing his move to the club- the midfielder has opened up and revealed that he is keen to add some silverware this season, he told the club website: ‘My hopes for the season, first and foremost, is to win some silverware. That is an aim for this club and we are in plenty of competitions this season where we can try to do that. So that is priority number one.

‘I want to play as many games as I can and try to help the team as much as possible. That is imperative to me.

‘I want to enjoy the moment and enjoy the occasion. There are going to be a lot of games this season and hopefully there will be a lot of ups.’

He continued: ‘Obviously, I know the head coach and the way he wants to play. It suits me as a player.

‘The squad is full of talent and has a lot of potential so I know that if it is nurtured right, then we can be really dangerous.’
