Chelsea told Havertz wants move, Chelsea should sign Oblak and Blues reportedly agree fee to sign Havertz in icchelseanews roundup..

Chelsea have now agreed an £85million fee for Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz, according to reports from Germany

It is no secret in the media that we are very keen to try and secure a transfer deal for Havertz and have been backed to complete a deal for the German star for months now.

However, it has been claimed that both the clubs cannot agree on the Havertz fee, and that is holding up the possible £70 million signing of a player that netted 18-goals last season.

But now it seems that a deal is on the verge of being announced, as Cwe have reportedly now agreed a massive £85 million deal with the German outfit, much more than the £70 million we were hoping to pay, with reports that an announcement is also on its way.

A Byline podcast host said to Jan Age Fjortoft: “People know I speak to contacts and hear things.

“So if I was to tell you Chelsea have agreed an £85m fee to sign Kai Havertz, £60m up front and it is now about how it’s structured, would that be realistic?”

Chelsea should now push to try and sign Jan Oblak after Athletic Madrid were knocked out of the Champions league.

There has been alot of transfer speculation in the media suggesting that Frank Lampard is keen to sign a new stopper in the summer transfer window as he has not been impressed by the performances of Kepa, who has struggled between the sticks.

Oblak, who saw his four-season stranglehold on the Zamora Trophy – awarded to the best goalkeeper in La Liga – ended by Thibaut Courtois, has proven himself as one of the best in the world over six years at Atleti.

And after Tyler Adams’ late deflected strike saw RB Leipzig reach their first Champions League semi-finals after a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid in Lisbon, we should not seek to clinch a transfer deal.

Oblak is seemingly open to the idea of leaving the Spanish clubs, and reports suggest that Madrid will be open to selling if the right amount of money is offered, meaning that we have an opportunity they cannot turn down.

There are not too many elite goalkeepers in the game right now, and if there is a chance to sign Oblak, they need to make sure that they make the move, he could add thirty points to the club next season.

Probed on rumours linking him with here– and suggestions he would consider a move if the Spanish club’s ambition does not match his own – Oblak recently told AS: ‘This is not the time to talk about that, right now we’ve got Leipzig to think about.

‘I’ll assess the season when the last game is over, and hopefully we’ll have three more games left to play. Then there will be time after that to talk.

‘But first, Leipzig. I’m really looking forward to it.’

Bayer Leverkusen chief Fernando Carro has admitted that Kai Havertz wants to “take the next step” amid strong Chelsea links.

Frank Lampard has already been a busy man in the transfer window open the past few months and look set to make another top-class signing, with Havertz the latest player that is seemingly heading to the club this summer.

Reports have claimed that weare locked in transfer talks over a deal for the German, and just need to negotiate a fee with Bayer Leverkusen before the deal can officially be announced.

Now we have taken a massive step towards completing this transfer deal after Carro opened up and announced that the £90 million rated talent is keen to take that next step and further his career.

“It was always clear that there would be talks as soon as the Europa League ended for us,” he told Kolner Stadt-Anzeiger

“Kai has expressed a wish to take the next step. Whether this will work in the near future or not, I can’t say at the moment.”
