Big Premier League star is player Chelsea interested in signing this January

The likes of CHELSEA are said to be on alert for Bournemouth centre-back Dean Huijsen, as Fabrizio Romano has claimed that he may decide to leave the Cherries in the summer transfer window.
Huijsen, 19, has quickly established himself as a regular at the heart of Andoni Iraola’s defence following a £13million move from Juventus to the Vitality Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The imposing 6 ft 5 in centre-half has caught the eye with a string of assured defensive displays while providing a strong aerial presence at the other end of the pitch, and According to Spanish publication AS, Huijsen’s performances have not gone unnoticed amongst Europe’s elite, with Madrid and Chelsea keeping close tabs on the Spain Under-21 international this season.
However – Huijsen’s current contract with Bournemouth runs through to the summer of 2030 and the Cherries are in no hurry to cash in on the highly rated youngster, although he could force a move at the end of the season.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said: “One to watch. He’s doing fantastic, incredible season for Huijsen. I can guarantee you that all the big clubs in England and not only are keeping close eyes on his performances of Huijsen.
“Bournemouth don’t want to see the player in January, they have closed the doors at the moment – this is the clear position of the club.
‘My personal feeling is that in the summer, we will talk a lot about him because there are top clubs in England, not only but especially in England that are closely monitoring the excellent progress of Huijsen.”
