European Champions ready to sell worlds best – Chelsea can make huge statement signing

To truly challenge for the Premier League title, Enzo Maresca would need to address specific gaps in CHELSEA‘s squad, reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed.

Enzo Maresca’s appointment at Chelsea has been impressive, but to transform Chelsea into Premier League title contenders, he would need a carefully curated blend of talent tailored to his tactical philosophy, this includes a world class goalkeeper.

Robert Sanchez is the number one at Stamford Bridge, but there is a massive feeling that he is not good enough and after the reports this weekend which revealed that PSG are open to letting Gianluigi Donnarumma leave the club, he would be the perfect signing for the Blues.

Stanley said: ‘ Robert Sánchez is serviceable, but a world class goalkeeper could make a significant difference in tight games.

‘What Maresca Needs is a A keeper capable of pulling off extraordinary saves in tight games. A Proficiency with the ball at their feet to contribute to build-up play.

‘Someone who inspires confidence by dominating aerial situations and organizing the defense, someone like Gianluigi Donnarumma, who could be leaving PSG in the coming transfer windows.

‘CHELSEA were linked with a move for Donnarumma before he made the move to France, they have been linked with a move while he has been in Ligue 1 and will be interested if PSG are actually keen to sell.’
