Zidane tells Madrid he wants Bale gone and Emgland striker to replace Giroud at Chelsea?
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has made it clear Manchester United target Gareth Bale is not in his plans.
There has been a lot of transfer speculation about whom boss Maurizio Sarri will try and sign during the summer transfer window to try and get the Blues back challenging for the Premier League and Champions League titles.
And one name that has been mentioned as a possible summer signing is that of Bale, who is seemingly on his way out the club after failing to impress the fans and management with his performances, especially as he was meant to fill the void that Cristiano Ronaldo left when he departed the club.
Reports on the Metro website have stated that Zidane has made it clear to the board that he wants Bale to be sold in the coming window, as he wants to make space for the likely arrivals of Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe from PSG, with President Florentino Perez ready to sanction the big moves.
Zidane recently said the club could sell valuable players as part of a squad overhaul to generate funds, telling the Sky Sports website: “All my players are important and good, but we are going to make changes.
“Here there are many players that can bring in cash for the club.
“The changes will be made known at the end of the season. We will see what changes we make and which players we will change.”
Meanwhile, We will reportedly seek to solve their Olivier Giroud problem by bringing back talented on-loan striker Tammy Abraham at the end of the season.
Giroud has been an integral part of the side which have reached the Europa League semi-finals this season, but he has had to play back-up to Gonzalo Higuaín in the Premier League as Maurizio Sarri prefers the Argentine over the Frenchman.
The striker has made just seven top-flight starts all season. Giroud’s contract expires in a few weeks and while the Blues have an option to activate a 12-month extension, there have been no talks.
And he has recently dropped a hint that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, confirming that he has offers to leave if talks to do open soon and he is guaranteed more first-team football.
And according to the Football.London website, we are planning for life after Giroud and are now preparing to bring Abraham back from his loan spell at Aston Villa.
we have a number of talented young players out on-loan after buying some of the best talents in the game, and Abraham is one of those exciting players that many believe will develop into one of the best strikers in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old has scored 21 goals for Sky Bet Championship side Villa, having seen another potential loan switch to Wolves break down in January, but he aims to challenge for the first-team here after helping Villa earn promotion back to the Premier League.
