Chelsea shocked as World Class Spaniard has agreed £11Million a season deal

Barcelona have agreed a two-year deal with Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta, according to the latest reports in the media

After spending more than a decade at Stamford Bridge and helping the Blues to numerous Titles both domestically and in Europe, many believed that this would be the very last season that Azpilicueta had at the club

He was out of contract at the end of the season and looked destined to depart the and head over to Spanish football, where Barcelona were ready to offer him a nice big three-year contract

And that was further enhanced by the news that Chelsea would be unable to open contract talks, sign new players and let players leave the club at the end of the season while Roman Abramovic was still in charge and the club was not sold

Now, according to Spanish outlet AS, The Spaniard, 32, is set to leave for free after a 10 year stint at Stamford Bridge, as Barcelona have swooped in to put a huge offer on the table, of which Azpilicueta has agreed to

The report also adds, The two-year deal will see the defender earn £11million per-season.

There has been so many rumours, so much speculation about the club and Azpilicueta, so the news that he will staying for at least one more season is great news for the club

He may not be the most exciting player that the club have, but he is a man that gives 110 per cent for the club and a player that the fans love

Losing him would have been a massive blow to the squad, so many fans will actually be hoping that this is not true
