Tuchel told to complete ‘perfect replacement’ for Werner at Chelsea
Chelsea legend Gustavo Poyet believes the club should sign Barcelona striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang to replace Timo Werner
Werner has been at the club for the last two seasons – has netted 23 goals for the club – has won the UEFA Champions League, Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup in that time
But has not made the impact that many had hoped for – and now is heading back to the Bundesliga after the club accepted that he wants to leave – and he is signing with former club RB Leipzig
That has led to speculation linking them with Gabonese international Aubameyang and Poyet believes the 33-year-old would be a good signing for the club to make.
Auba is now deemed surplus to requirements from the summer signing of Robert Lewandowski – and could be available should the club make the right offer for the man
‘Aubameyang would be perfect for Chelsea,’ the former Sunderland, brighton and Bordeaux manager told Lord Ping. ‘He looks happy and back to his best scoring goals.’

Werner leaving was an obvious thing to do – he is not happy at the club and needs to be playing regular football – and that will not happen at the Bridge
So, heading back to the club where he made his name is the best thing for his career – but Auba is not the way to go
There is a reason why Arsenal let their biggest player depart the club – and that was because he was not able to produce the goods in the Premier League
