Attacker told to join Chelsea – Blues fans striker to get summer move – Madrid will sell star to Chelsea?

Irati Prat has been speaking exclusively to football.london about Samu Omorodion joining CHELSEA this summer transfer window!

It is no secret that the board are still looking to buy the best young players in the game over the next few months and bring them to Stamford Bridge – with a host of stars linked.

20-year-old Spain U21 international Omorodion  has only been with Atletico Madrid since moving in 2023 from Granada and his contract runs out in June 2028, having spent last season on loan at Deportivo Alaves, netting nine goals and providing one assist in 35 appearances

“I think Atletico Madrid will sell Samu if an irrefutable offer arrives,” Prat said.

“They are immersed in a squad reconstruction and want names like [Artem] Dovbyk or [Alexander] Sorloth for the forward. Memphis [Depay] leaves, [Alvaro] Morata may leave… but they are aware of their potential and what they like in Europe.

“If it comes out, it would be for a lot of money. A ‘crazy’ offer of well over €40million (£33.8million).

‘I don’t know, for now, anything negative about Samu,” Prat explained. “He is someone very demanding of himself who knows that his life has completely changed in a year.

“From Granada to Atletico Madrid. I remember an interview he gave in which he talked about how he was crying because he had missed several clear chances and Alaves had lost to Las Palmas. He felt very guilty, he said. He is someone quite humble with a great desire to do well.

“He is a tremendously interesting forward who still has a lot to polish. It must be made clear that he is 20 years old and that a year ago he was playing in the Fourth Division.

“Above all, it needs to improve the definition. I think he’s missing some goals right now. But he is a beast on a physical level, dominating away from the area and devastating in the open field.

“Many Atletico fans would like to see him for one season, at least. Know what it is capable of. It is true that on an economic level it would be a great operation to sell it for €40million-plus (£33.8million-plus), since it only cost €6million (£5.1million). But it has a lot of potential and has aroused the hype of the Metropolitano.”

GREALISH MESSAGE SENT – 

Former England man Chris Waddle has told Jack Grealish that he should join CHELSEA this summer.

During his time with Aston Villa – Grealish has developed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and a man that was tipped to play for one of the big clubs.

In the end it was Manchester City that swooped in – paid some serious money – and took him to the Etihad in hope that he could devlop into the player that showed so much promise

However – Grealish, has failed to lived up to the billing so far and Grealish’s name has been discussed by the board, according to recent reports as they seek to keep on bolstering their squad over the course of the transfer window.

Speaking to Betway, Waddle has outlined why he thinks Chelsea would be a good move: “If you’re buying Grealish, are you buying him as a winger? Tottenham like pace, Jack is not blessed with pace. You’d have to play him in a number 10 role, and they already have James Maddison for that.

“So Spurs no, and I wouldn’t say Arsenal either. Liverpool play a very high tempo game, so I’m not sure about there too. What you’re looking at is, would you play Grealish as a winger or a number 10, or midfield player? If I was buying him I’d be looking to play him in the middle. He does a job on the wing, but wingers create, get round the back, and Jack can’t get round the back.

“He doesn’t give the ball away but he doesn’t take a lot of risks. I’d be looking to play him in that three in the middle of the park. I’m not sure about Newcastle, they play a high tempo and press. I think he has to go to a side where they are looking to play him as a midfield player.

“CHELSEA could be an outside bet with Gallagher possibly going, you could see him playing that midfield role. He’d be more effective there. He’s got vision, he can see things and he’s good at give and go.”

FOFANA TO MOVE – 

David Datro Fofana is reportedly all set to pack his bags and leave CHELSEA this summer transfer window as the Blues are keen to cash in on the forward.

We have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few weeks – there has been alot of players linked with a move to the club as Enzo Maresca wants to make his first season at the club a special one.

However, all these players coming in make it impossible for all the players at the club to even get a look in the side next season, and the board have decided to get rid of a number of players over the next few months.

Now Matt Law has told ‘London is Blue’ that he believes the striker is one of those who will be sold to make way for others to come in.

He said: “I’ve been told a lot of players will go; Casadei might go, and Datro Fofana will go, whether on loan or permanent. I think they would accept bids for Cucurella; whether they’d get any, I don’t know. Maatsen will go; he’s part of the Duran thing with Villa. I do think Chalobah will go.”
