Marko Arnautovic’s brother, Danijel, has failed to rule out a move away from West Ham this coming January, with Chelsea keen on a deal.

Arnautovic joined West Ham from Stoke for £25m in the summer of 2017 and has become a fan favourite at the London Stadium, scoring 11 Premier League goals last season and five already this season.

But with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud struggling for consistency in front of goal this season, there has been some rumours that Sarri could reignite his interest in signing up Arnautovic, especially after the forward hinted he is ready to make that big move.

Speaking to Austrian newspaper Kurier while on international duty, Arnautovic said: “I’m 29 so that’s the best age. It’s clear that I want to compete with the best players. But in this affair I totally trust my brother.”

And now his brother, and agent, has failed to rule out a January deal for the £35m rated star, telling the Sky Sports website: “He’s already playing in the Premier League and that’s where the best players are. But for a player like Marko this cannot be the end.

“He’s a big part of West Ham’s team but I think it’s possible to tease out more of him. For that to happen, he has to play for a top team.

“Marko is ready for the next step. A player like him should not play against relegation. He should play for the international spots.

Is Arnautovic the man to lead the attack here at Stamford Bridge?

Now we have been linked with some of the worlds very best strikers over the last few months as Sarri is keen to add a striker that could add 30-40 goals a season, and many believe that Mauro Icardi is the perfect man to lead our attack back to success.

So even though Arnautovic has been in decent form for West Ham this season, he is not the man that will help us regain the Premier League title and push on to try and win the Champions League next season.
