Possible Chelsea signing is ‘Unbelievable – fans told ahead of potential £100M move
Michail Antonio has announced that Declan Rice is unbelievable – amid speculation that Chelsea are still keen on a transfer deal.
Since breaking into West Ham’s first-team, Rice has played a huge part in the east London’s club’s rise which culminated in a Europa League semi-final appearance this season.
He is one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League right now – and at the age of 23-years of age – he has plenty of time to turn into one of the best in world football
It is no secret that Chelsea have been keeping a very close eye on Rice for the last few seasons – but we have been unable to make any sort of move for the man until the new owner is officially here
Rice has just two years left on his contract and has rejected the Hammers’ offer of an eight-year extension which would boost his wages to £200,000-a-week – which has prompted alot more speculation in the media about the midfielder
But although Antonio wouldnt talks about the future of Rice – he has told many fans – clubs and people watching that the Englishman is nowhere near his best yet, Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: ‘Dec has not even touched his best yet. He is unbelievable. What I see every day in training, he’s got so much more to do, got so much more to learn.
‘But what he’s doing right now, he’s up there with one of the best in the Premier League already.
‘Whatever Dec wants to do, I’ll be happy for him. I love him as a player. I love him as a person. So his decision is his at the end of the day.’
