Announcement opens door for Chelsea to complete monster transfer deal
Chelsea have received a boost in the transfer chase for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian has scored 23 times in just 20 appearances, including 16 in 14 Bundesliga matches despite injuries trying to disrupt his season. And his performances has led to all sorts of speculation
There is not one big club out there that do not want to acquire his services in the coming transfer window, especially since he has a £64 million clause in his contract, and it would be a shock to still see him at Dortmund by the end of the window
Romelu Lukaku may be regarded as one of the best in world football, but he cannot score the goals that we would like and there are alot of rumours in the media that the club may be open to selling the Belgian powerhouse and recoup some of that £98 million
Some reports have stated that Haaland had already made his mind up to join Madrid at the end of the season, but Now those rumours have been dashed by Jan Fjortoft, a former international team-mate of the star’s father Alf-Inge and spokesman of the Haaland family.
Speaking to Bild TV, the ex-Premier League striker said: “An agreement with Madrid hasn’t been made.
“Erling Haarland and his team, including his dad, are looking at the situation in minute detail in order to choose where he will play next season.
“They will make the decision based on a number of elements.”
We all know that the clubcan be ruthless, but spending over £200 million to complete a deal for Haaland is a big financial decision, and with all the issues that the club are facing right now, we do not know if they will do that in the summer
Haaland is the future of the game, it would be a shame to miss out on the player
