Father has Messi transfer messag, while Chelsea told Alaba not happy at Bayern
Bayern Munich star and Chelsea target David Alaba is growing increasingly disillusioned with his contract situation,, father George revealed on Wednesday.
Bayern got the transfer headlines going crazy last months after it was revealed that the world class left-back could be leaving the club at the end of the season on a free contract after failing to agree a new deal with the club.
That has led to rumours that we are one of the clubs that are ready to open talks with Alaba in the January window and try to convince him to join their respective clubs.
Now, amid all the speculation, his father has opened up and revealed Alaba is growing increasingly disillusioned with his contract situation: “He is so disappointed and upset because so many falsehoods are being aired in public,” George Alaba explained to APA on Wednesday. “I don’t know how this will proceed.”
The idea that Alaba could be on the market for nothing at the end of the season is crazy, he is one of the best in world football, but he would be more than welcome in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi’s father and agent Jorge has categorically denied that the Barcelona star is considering a move to Paris Saint-Germain next summer.
It was only a few months ago that news broke revealing Messi was fed up at Barcelona, was looking for a way out and eve asked for a transfer away from the club, but because of his contract situation, he has had to stay put this season.
He is out of contract at the end of the season, and there have been suggestions in the media that Manchester City and Chelsea are the only two teams in the Premier League that would be prepared to match his massively high wages, as they have both been eyeing up Messi for years.
But recent reports on ESPN suggested contact had already been made between PSG and Messi Sr. in order to broker a deal, with negotiations possible as early as January, which seemingly ended reports that he could come to the Premier League
But the agent gave that report short shrift, borrowing one of United States president Donald Trump’s most infamous phrases in order to dismiss the story
“Stop inventing! Fake news,” Jorge fired on Instagram, posting his message over a screenshot of the offending transfer rumour.”
