Agent of Reguilon is working on deal to make Chelsea move, fans have been told

Sergio Reguilon’s agent is working on securing a summer move to Chelsea – but there is now more interest in the full-back.

It is no secret that Frank Lampard is keen to splash the cash a little more to improve key areas of the pitch and adding a new left-back to the side is high up on his list of things to do this summer.

We have been linked with a move for Ben Chilwell, but with Leicester keen to keep hold of the Englishman and sticking a massive £80 million asking price on his head, we are looking at cheaper alternatives to the Englishman.

And earlier reports have claimed that we have held advanced talks with Real Madrid for the services of Reguilon, who has been impressing in La Liga with Spanish giants Sevilla over the past 12 months.

Now Transfer expert Nicolo Schira tweeted the update, saying: “Kia Joorabchian is working to move Sergio Reguilon.

“Chelsea are really interested in him, but in the last days also Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Arsenal have asked info.”

The left-back shone on loan at Sevilla from Real Madrid this season, but the LaLiga champs are ready to sell after signing Ferland Mendy last summer, with reports suggesting that £22 million would be enough to complete a transfer deal.

Look, Reguilon is a very talented young man, but at the end of the day, if he really the man that will come in and improve this back-line ahead of next season?

We do not think that he is ready just yet.
