Agent opens up and announces that left-back very likely to be a Chelsea player by end of next month

The agent of Emerson Palmieri has opened up and addresses the rumours he could be leaving in the January window.

Emerson has been given enough chances to shine in that shirt since his move to the club just a few seasons go, but despite a few impressive performances, the left-back has never really made the impact that many had hoped for.

And ahead of the opening of the January window, there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that he will finally depart the club and possibly head back to Italian football, if the club get the right kind of offer for him.

However, Fernando Garcia, who serves as Emerson’s main legal representative, has expressed his belief that his client will remain on the Blues’ books until beyond January: “Will he go away from Chelsea in January? I do not believe so. I don’t know if there will be the possibility of returning to Italy,” Garcia told FCInter1908.

Pressed on the possibility of Inter reigniting their pursuit of Emerson, he responded: “For now there have been no contacts with Inter.”

Garcia added on the star’s relationship with his current manager: “Emerson has a good relationship with Lampard.”

This will come as a massive shock to many fans who firmly believed that Emerson would be leaving the club in the coming transfer window, especially as he struggles to get the game time he wants.

But With Ben Chilwell unable to play every game of the season, it is probably a smart decision by the club to keep hold of the left-back, especially as it will be unlikely that we will spend too much money in the coming window.
