Chelsea close in on world class Hysaj deal after agent hits out on boss Ancelotti

The agent of Napoli star Elsaid Hysaj, Mario Giuffredi, has told Carlo Ancelotti if he wants the defender to leave, just tell him.

Despite the fact We have been one of the best teams to watch in the Premier League this season, there is still a few areas on the pitch which Maurizio Sarri needs to work on before he can challenge for the League title.

And one area of the pitch they need to improve is the back-line, especially with recent reports which have suggested that David Luiz could leave the club after failing to agree a new contract with the club.

Now we have been given a huge boost after his agent hit out at boss Ancelotti, telling Radio Marte: “Last summer he could have joined Chelsea, and follow Sarri, but Ancelotti blocked the trade, saying he would have entrusted Elseid with a big-time position.

“Now, however, we are showed how he’s been playing only one out of last four games. Maybe he’s not that important anymore for the boss: if it’s like that, he just has to tell us: we’ll leave, and stop bothering with our presence”.

Would we welcome Hysaj to the club?

For the right price, yes we would as he would bring real quality to the back-line, especially since Luiz may not get the new deal that he is looking for. But Napoli are notorious for making transfer deals impossible and even if Hysaj was to leave in the coming transfer windows, we may have a long fight on our hands to even seal a deal.

It took months for us to sign Sarri and Jorginho in the summer, and considering Hysaj has a big contract at Napoli, it could take even longer for us to conclude any sort of deal.
