Agent speaks out with Chelsea keen on Bundesliga star
The agent of Josko Gvardiol has sent a clear transfer message to the likes of Chelsea about the gifted Croatian star.
The World Cup is still in full swing, and Croatia are still in the competition after stunning Japan in the first round of the knock-outs stages.
One player that is really standing out is Gvardiol – who has performed at a very high level and is a player that Chelsea are very keen to try and secure his services in the coming windows.
The club were keen over the summer window – but Gvardiol shocked Chelsea by agreeing a new contract at RB Leipzig which means that we will now have to pay £77 million to try and get a transfer deal done.
But amid all the speculation and all the rumours and Speaking to Sky Germany, Gvardiol’s agent has confirmed that no agreement has been reached with any suitors yet and sent a warning that they are in no rush to agree to anything.
“Regarding a possible transfer in summer 2023, we are not in a hurry and I can make clear that there are no pre-agreements with any clubs,” Marjan Sisic revealed.
“For sure, a lot of top clubs have asked about him but Josko has a long-term contract in Leipzig.
“Josko feels totally happy in Leipzig. His development is amazing and RB is playing very good under Marco Rose.”
