Jorginho’s agent, Joao Santos, has dismissed rumours linking the Chelsea midfielder with a move and has claimed he is ‘happy’ at Stamford Bridge.

There has been alot of speculation in the media over the past few days which have claimed that we may be open to the idea of letting Jorginho leave the club this transfer window after spending over £200 million on new signings.

That has led to speculation in the media that the likes of Arsenal, Roma and PSG have shown an interest in trying to get a possible deal done, but as soon as the rumours emerged, those rumours have been shut down by the player’s agent.

‘Jorginho still has a three-year contract with Chelsea, this plus two,’ Santos told 90Min Italy. ‘I feel a lot of talk about Arsenal and PSG in the last few days, but the reality is that up to now, no official offer has arrived for the player.

‘The transfer market closes on 5 October, but the more time passes the more difficult it becomes to make such an important operation. So at the moment, I can say that it is just rumours.

‘He is happy at Chelsea.

‘With Roma, there was absolutely nothing, Santos added.

‘Hard to see him in Serie A because he has an important salary and a cost that only two or three clubs can afford

‘Given the situation and the type of market we are experiencing, it is difficult to think of an operation of this type with so little time available.’

Why would we sell a player that is such a class guy?

It is great news that he is happy, there has been alot of speculation.
