And after earing the news about Lampard, fans have been taking to Twitter to voice their opinion on the sacking…
Always somewhat sad when it doesn't work out for a club legend in a managerial role, but Lampard saw Mourinho, Ancelotti and others sacked during his time as a player and must have suspected it was coming… #CFC https://t.co/cLp4vl1MSe

I’m surprised but not shocked. He did have the worst win ratio out of all Chelsea managers in the Abramovich era. I would have liked to see him given more time even though he was learning on the job. Mourinho, Ancelotti and Conte sackings felt far worse. #CFC #Lampard https://t.co/uJqSSdG6T5

Honestly surprised at the time of this. While I'm sure everyone can agree the team hasn't been doing well. Unless they have someone lined up to take the position, I'm not sure what benefit this will have. #Chelsea #Lampard https://t.co/1zyxa0A2QF

Frank Lampard may have just got the sack, but incoming boss Thomas Tuchel is a man that knows what players he wants, and reports have suggested that he has asked the board to try and wrap up a deal for the talented £55 million rated defender
TalkSPORT’s transfer expert Alex Crook recently claimed that there is definite interest from the club: “We’ve talked about this guy a lot over the course of the last year or so, he’s a really highly-rated defender.
“He plays for RB Leipzig, he helped them do great things in the Champions League last season.
“Manchester United have watched him, Liverpool have watched him, Arsenal have been linked in the past.
“Now we’re hearing Chelsea are showing a definite interest, along with Bayern Munich. I don’t know if this is a deal that can necessarily happen this month because he’s got a release clause of of €42million that kicks into gear in the summer.
“But if those clubs I’ve mentioned are going to go toe-to-toe, this could be a really fascinating saga to watch and see exactly which club he picks. He’s a top player.”
Frank Lampard has been sacked by Chelsea after just 18 months as head coach and Roman Abramovic has revealed just why
Lampard was brought to the club just last year and enjoyed a first good season with the club, leading the club to an FA Cup final and qualification to the Champions League, which brought alot of excitement around the club.
But despite the fact that he had over £200 million in the transfer window to bring in new players, we have fallen well behind Manchester City and Manchester United in the chase to win that Premier League title.
Lampard took the side on a 17-game unbeaten run but away defeats to Everton, Wolves, Arsenal and Leicester and a 3-1 home defeat to Manchester City have cost him his job, and In a statement, Abramovich said: “This was a very difficult decision for the club, not least because I have an excellent personal relationship with Frank and I have the utmost respect for him.
“He is a man of great integrity and has the highest of work ethics. However, under current circumstances we believe it is best to change managers.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, the board and personally, I would like to thank Frank for his work as head coach and wish him every success in the future. He is an important icon of this great club and his status here remains undiminished. He will always be warmly welcomed back at Stamford Bridge.”
Thomas Tuchel is now reportedly flying to Chelsea after the Blues sacked Frank Lampard.
Despite the fact that he had over £200 million in the transfer window to bring in new players, We have fallen well behind Manchester City and Manchester United in the chase to win that Premier League title.
Lampard took the side on a 17-game unbeaten run but away defeats to Everton, Wolves, Arsenal and Leicester and a 3-1 home defeat to Manchester City have cost him his job, and now the club is looking to bring in a new boss.
And it seems that fans will be welcoming former PSG boss Thomas Tuchel in the next couple of days, with reports suggesting that he is now flying over to London to discuss a move to Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel won the DFB-Pokal in 2017 with Dortmund before a brief but trophy-laden spell in Paris which saw him win two Ligue 1 titles and a French Cup, as well as reaching the final of last season’s Champions League, which they lost to Bayern Munich.
Look, Lampard needed to get the sack, This squad is one of the very best in the Premier League and should be challenging for all the major titles, so the fact that he has lost so many games already this season, it was about time.
Tuchel is a proven boss that has won trophies and managed some of the very best players in the game, so he should get the very best out of the players that he will not have at the Bridge.
We are sad to see Lampard leave the club, but at the end of the day, we are a club that demand success, and if you cannot bring that, then there are always better options out there
