£80m star makes transfer admission, admits Chelsea all he’s thinking about
Nicolas Jackson has spoken out on his future at CHELSEA after being linked with a shock move to Manchester United, as the Red Devils seek to add another striker to that attack this transfer window
The club have already bolstered their attacking options this summer with a £30 million deal to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town and a £60m move for Joao Pedro from Brighton last month, and there is talk that they will continue their summer of spending.
The Athletic report that Jackson is not deemed as ‘untouchable’ at Chelsea and could be sold if they receive a high enough offer.
And after suffering their lowest goalscoring tally in Premier League history last season (44), the Red Devils could still look to strengthen their front line by signing Jackson, as per BBC Sport.
Asked whether he feared for his future at the club given the ‘serious competition’ he will face, if he stays put, following the arrivals of Pedro and Delap, Jackson said: ‘Competition? I have no competition.
‘We’re all here to help the club. Everyone has their role to play. I’m on a mission. It’s up to the coach to make his choices. I focus solely on my work.’
‘I’m a Chelsea player.
‘The future belongs to God. If there are any changes, you’ll know. For now, I’m focused on my preparation.’
IcChelseanews Says…
Despite all the arrivals that have come to CHELSEA this summer, we can see the Blues keeping hold of Jackson as he is a very good option to have in that side.
We would be sad to see the player leave that is for sure.
