£70M Bundesliga star Chelsea wants to sign has agreement to make transfer move
CHELSEA target Benjamin Šeško doesn’t have a release clause in his RB Leipzig contract, but he does have a “gentleman’s agreement” with the club over a potential exit next summer.
Sesko – who is also attracting interest from the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool – ended the season in stunning form, scoring or assisting in 13 of the final 16 games of the Bundesliga season, and his release clause increased to €65million (£56m) as a result.
It is no secret that we are looking to add a new striker to that attack in the summer transfer window as they still have not got a 25-30 goal a season forward that can score on a weekly basis.
However, despite all the speculation, despite all the hype and despite the fact many were tipping Sesko to leave RB in the summer window, the decision was to stay put for the big striker and he actually agreed a new contract to stay
But Šeško doesn’t have a release clause in his RB Leipzig contract, but he does have a “gentleman’s agreement” with the club over a potential exit next summer, Sky Sports Deutschland reports.
The 21-year-old already has seven goals this season and though the German club are not contractually obliged to let Šeško depart next summer, there is said to be an understanding that he is free to leave if an interested club submits an offer worth €70 million to €75 million.
