Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from us that we believe you guys may have missed today –

CHELSEA have been in contact with the agents of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic about a move to Stamford Bridge

Recent reports claimed that Chelsea were ready to make their moves in the January window as a report from Italy claimed the Blues  remained keen on adding Vlahovic to their squad after missing out on him last season.

It has been claimed that the Bianconeri will make their mind on the Serbian international following the result of ongoing proceedings regarding false accounting, with hopes of obtaining a fee in the region of €80-90m for his services.

Now – amid all the speculation and the rumours – journalist Rudy Galetti has told GIVEMESPORT that Chelsea have now been in contact with the agents of Vlahovic about a move

He said:: “There are other names on the list including Dusan Vlahovic.

“The chances that the striker will leave Juventus at the end of the season are increasingly growing also due to the extra football situation of the Bianconeri.

“Juventus have already set the price tag to let him go at around €80m (close to £70m).

“At the moment, there has been no contact between the two clubs, but only between CHELSEA and Vlahovic’s agents.”

Vlahovic is a very good young striker that has a bright future in the game and if we manage to get him for the right amount of money – he would be a brilliant signing.

It is a vital summer for us and the board NEED TO MAKE THE RIGHT SIGNINGS.

UGARTE ON WAY?

It has been claimed that Manuel Ugarte could be completing his move to CHELSEA as early as next week.

Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add some players to the squad that will improve key areas of the pitch and a new defensive midfielder is on the agenda of the former Tottenham boss.

Jorginho departed the club back in January and was immediately replaced by the exciting Enzo Fernandez – but with reports Ngolo Kante and Mateo Kovacic could also depart the club – Ugarte is a man that Pochettino reportedly wants.

Sporting boss Ruben Amorim has already admitted it is hard for the Portuguese club to keep hold of Ugarte this summer with clubs across Europe registering an interest in signing the midfielder

“I cannot comment on this issue, because it is beyond me. Now, we know that it is difficult to keep players like Ugarte,” Amorim told Ojogo.

“Not just one club is interested, but several. Our objective is to sell, knowing that we missed the Champions League and it makes everything more difficult.

“I know what I want for the team and I have already conveyed that to the management.

Now – Uruguayan transfer insider Franco Fernandez claims that the club are the frontrunners to acquire Ugarte’s services and that a deal could be thrashed out as early as next week.

He tweeted: “Manuel Ugarte was on the bench [against Vizela], he did not see minutes waiting for his future for the transfer period. His arrival at Chelsea could be confirmed next week.”

OSIMHEN FOR 87M

CHELSEA ‘s main target heading into the summer transfer window is Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed.

Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel had a number of targets on the shopping list over the summer as he looked wot add a world class striker to the side – and the club were linked with numerous players – but couldn’t get a deal done

They had to wait until the very last minute of the transfer window to get the striker that Tuchel wanted – and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was signed by the Blues.

However – it is believed that incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to add another striker to the attack at the end of the season – as he has been promised by Ted Boehly that there will be funds available to sign the players he wants

And that has led to suggestions that Osimhen is a man that Pochettino has asked the club to sign after his stunning season with the Italians led to the club securing a Seria A title.

Now Galetti has confirmed that Chelsea will be in the market for a new striker in the summer transfer window, with Osimhen their main target, and the journalist also adds that they could make an offer of over €100m (£87m).

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: CHELSEA are looking for a new striker this summer. Victor Osimhen remains the main target and they could offer more than €100m for the Nigerian player.”
