Here is a roundup of the latest Chelsea transfer news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –

It has again been claimed that Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite could end up signing for Chelsea this summer.

The London side could add a centre-back to their ranks this summer after Thiago Silva’s exit, and Everton could find themselves forced to sell at least one star.

Branthwaite is said to be happy to stay at Goodison Park, while Everton are also in talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin over a new deal.

Everton may need to cash in on players in the summer but the report claims they are are adamant there will be no fire sale and it would take a huge offer to contemplate letting Branthwaite go.

Now Bookmaker Betfair believes Branthwaite is a player that we are most likely to sign at some point in this transfer window, as he is a player that they believe could turn into a world class star.

And amid all the speculation and rumours – Pat Nevin has opened up and claimed that Branthwaite would be perfect for the club: “If I was looking for a young centre-back at an elite club in Europe, he would be top of my list,” Nevin told Prime Slots.

“He absolutely ticks every single box for Chelsea; they buy young players for big money, he’s tall, he dominates physically and is good in the air.

“He absolutely will not be cheap, even though Everton need to sell this summer, because CHELSEA are not going to be the only club looking at him in the summer. He’s going to cost a fortune, but I personally hope he stays at Everton because I think they badly need him.

“But there are very few clubs in world football that would not want to buy Jarrad Branthwaite, he could be that good.”

CHELSEA WANT UPAMECANO –

Chelsea are reportedly very interested in signing Bayern Munich star Dayot Upemacano this summer window.

Upamecano and the club have been synonymous with each other for years as the club attempted to sign the player when he was 17 years old, but he has always rejected a move to the Premier League.

However – After three years in Bavaria, the 25-year-old defender, under contract until 2026, could be tempted to start a new phase elsewhere, and Speaking on the podcast, journalist Christian Falk suggested that the Frenchman was in the clubs sights – despite some under-par performances for the German giants.

He said: “Yes, it’s true: CHELSEA would like Dayot Upamecano. It’s not really clear yet whether he’ll have a chance next year. Vincent Kompany is looking at everyone, but would Bayern let him go?

“That would probably cost a lot of money. At the time, Bayern paid €€42.5m to RB Leipzig.”

However – the report adds that newly appointed Bayern Munich boss, Vincent Kompany, “is fully counting on the former Leipzig defender. The Belgian will now have to convince him of the benefit of staying in Bavaria”, as Bayern are much happier to let Kim Min-Jae or Matthijs De Ligt leave

Upamecano has long been linked with a move to the Premier Leagues, but this is probably the best chance that wehave to sign the defender as the Germans will probably have to sell before they can buy players.

He would be a world class signing for the club that is for sure.

RAPHINHA CAN LEAVE –

Barcelona are reportedly willing to let CHELSEA target Raphinha leave if they can sign Liverpool’s Luis Diaz as a replacement

During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.

Several European clubs have been closely monitoring the 27-year-old’s performances and after his recent success, a Premier League club submitted a €60 million bid for the player, according to recent reports.

Fichajes.net recently claimed that we are one of the clubs that are competing for the signing of Raphinha, with the Blues leading the race for the Brazilian star.

Now, Mundo Deportivo claims while Barca value Raphinha a lot, they may sacrifice him for Diaz, if they can lure the Colombian away from Anfield.

Since Diaz signed for Liverpool from Porto in January 2022 for an initial £37m ($47m), he has scored 24 goals and bagged 13 assists in 98 matches in all competitions.
