Jules Kounde has decided to reject Barcelona and join Chelsea, reports have suggested

Sevilla defender Jules Kounde is apparently top of the club’s wish list according to the journalist, after a move was said to be close last summer.

The French international has featured in 19 La Liga matches so far this season and is contracted at the club until June 2024, but he is heavily tipped to leave the Spanish side in the summer

It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel will need to add a few more defenders to the squad on the coming window as a number of stars could actually be leaving on a free, and there has been some big names linked with the club.

Kounde is playing the ‘last leg of his career at Sevilla’ and will leave them as their record sale in the summer, with both Chelsea and Barcelona battling it out for his services.

However, despite the fact it would be alot easier to stay in La Liga, IcFootballnews has learned the Sevilla star has decided a switch to the Premier League suits him better than Camp Nou.

The news will come as a welcome boost to Thomas Tuchel, who reportedly ‘love him’ and after having ‘already making an offer’ for Koundé in 2021, the club ‘will do it again in a few months’.

In other words, the Premier League side will make another proposal in the next window.

We have always said that we are massive fans of Kounde and believe he is well suited to the Premier League, so if the reports are actually true and he has decided to make the move to Stamford Bridge, he will be a brilliant signing for the club

We are massive fans and will welcome him, if the reports are actually true guys
