£40M star will be interested in joining Chelsea after boards surprise move

Chelsea reportedly made a quiet move for Lucas Bergvall during the January transfer window, according to The Sun. Though no deal materialised, the rumour has resurfaced as the summer window approaches, but would he make the move to Stamford Bridge?

Tottenham only signed Bergvall recently, and he has already shown flashes of the potential that made him such a coveted prospect. as such, Spurs are unlikely to entertain interest easily. Selling him to a direct London rival would be even less palatable.

It is no surprise to see that CHELSEA made a move for Bergvall in the January window, he is far too talented to be playing for a side that is fighting down in the relegation battle, he would surely move if the price was right.

We are not sure that he is needed at Stamford Bridge, but to add a bit more depth and quality to the squad, he would be more than welcome to make the move across London and join a side that competes for trophies every season, not once every 20 years.
