£325k-a-week star ‘is the biggest loser’ after Chelsea’s transfer decision!
Gab Marcotti has dubbed loaned-out CHELSEAstriker Romelu Lukaku as the ‘biggest loser’ of the 2023 summer transfer window
Lukaku was at Inter Milan on loan last season and almost helped the Italians win the Champions League – but they were unable to get past the dominant Man City.
His loan deal at the Italians ended at the beginning of the summer – and there has been alot of speculation about his future – with many clubs linked with a possible deal after the club made the decision to let him leave.
But despite the fact we dont have a proven striker – the decision has been made to allow Lukaku leave for Roma for the next 12 months, and Serie A expert Marcotti just thinks the player hasn’t handled things properly this summer.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
“Number one has to be Romelu Lukaku,” said Marcotti. “It was all so easy for him. All so simple. Just answer Inter’s phone call. You would have got your permanent move, a club you say ‘I love’ and a club that loves you. You would have had your big deal.
“I have no idea what he was thinking. He ends up at Roma, not the worst place in the world.
‘But it’s another loan deal. Another question mark. No Champions League football. No question. He screwed it up.”

Lukaku is a man that should never have come back to the Premier League, it was the wrong decision to make for him and it kind of ruined his career. So moving back to Italian football is the right decision to make.
